Bakugou had all the connections that you would expect from a seasoned villain living in the underworld, and once you had been taken to a ship, from the boat the initially launched from the bay, you were issued with a new name and a new identity- your name changing from Y/N to V/N (villain name) and you were given a new outfit so that you weren’t running around in your old hero gear.
Your whole life, you had been entrenched with hero ethics, but then you met another girl on board the ship who had some compelling arguments for villains and against the hero world and she gave you a lot to think about. She was running with another villain, known to you as Deku, and you recognized him the second he stepped into the room.
He took one look at you and immediately pulled his knife, aiming to take you out but thankfully Bakugou was right there and had Deku in a choke hold within a matter of seconds.
“She’s a spy!” Deku wheezed out, words being crushed to half size as Bakugou kept a good strong grip on his windpipe.
“She’s running with me, you damn nerd,” he growled, “touch her and I’ll blast half your brains across the boat and the other half over your girl, got it?”
“Ok, Kacchan, ok,” Deku whimpered, rubbing his neck as Bakugou let him go.
“Katsuki… it’s ok, there will be a few who will recognize my old self as a hero and will try and take me out. You can’t threaten everyone who tries to hurt me. I can—,”
“As if I would let anyone hurt you, idiot,” he snarled, giving Deku another look, “no one will dare to come near you.”
He grabbed your arm and yanked your into himself, giving you a hug while glaring at anyone who made eye contact with him.
“I’m better than you all,” he barked, “don’t even think about hurting her.”
Sheepishly, the ship staff went back to work and the other girl took Deku away so it wouldn’t rile Bakugou up any more.
A few hours later you were at the docks, then ushered to a private plane that was waiting for you and him, then jetted off to an island to keep a low profile until the initial news of your disappearance had blown over.
There was a very small community of people on the island and at first you thought that maybe they were all in hiding, like you were, but it turned out that they lived there!
During this time, you got to know Bakugou a little more and you found that although he was very unhinged, he was a simple creature. He loved to explode things. He loved to be the best- which stemmed from his very high testosterone levels, he just couldn’t help his alpha tendencies. And he loved it best when he had your full attention and praise- although he would never admit to that last one. So if he was a little grumpy, taking him out to explode things- safely, away from the town, always put him in a better mood, or if that didn’t work, praising him over something would often do the trick.
Or.
If neither of those worked…
Getting him into bed and letting him showcase his inner alpha was a never fail.
Your stay on the island lasted 6 months, then you were taken to a new country to start afresh there.
You had told Bakugou that although you were with him, there were just some things you couldn’t bring yourself to do- and that was knowingly hurting someone for no reason.
He, eventually, respected that, and started to take it upon himself to make sure that he didn’t hurt anyone in front of you- if whatever he was doing would result in casualties.
During this time, so much had been going on that you didn’t notice your lack of periods… and it was only that you were feeling more bloated these days, and your stomach felt like it was gurgling and whatnot, that you decided to go to the doctor to get checked out.
Bakugou took you to a doctor, with the underground connections that he knew about, and accompanied you to the appointment.
You described the symptoms to the doctor and he ordered you to have a blood test to get a reading on your levels.
The next week, you went back to get the results and he met you with a bright smile.
“So… what’s the diagnosis, doc?” you asked, sitting down in the chair to hear what he had to say.
“Well…” he said, leaning forward on the desk, “would you like to ring your partner, Bakugou, to come in for the results?”
“Is it bad?” you asked apprehensively.
“No. The opposite,” he said with another smile.
“Umm… ok?” you hummed, pulling your phone out to ring Bakugou to come in.
You rang him and he picked up immediately.
“Where are you? I’m coming,” he said into the receiver sounding a little panicked that you had called him.
“I’m fine. I’m just at the doctors.”
You could hear a series of explosions and then a knock on the door.
“Open this damn door, I’m here,” he said into the phone, the echo of his voice from outside the door sounding a second before his voice came through the line.
The doctor heard him and got up to open the door.
“I would have blasted the damn door in myself only that you’re in here and it would have been a hell of explosion because I’m sweaty from getting here quick,” Bakugou explain as he walked over and grabbed the back of your head to give you a very firm kiss against your lips then sitting down with his legs spread, in the chair next to you.
“Ok. He’s here,” you said to the doctor as the older man walked back around to his chair behind the desk and sat down again.
“How… do you two… feel about a family?” he asked diplomatically, “have you been wanting to start a family?”
You eyed him, suddenly realizing what he was getting at and your hand flew up over your mouth as Bakugou just blinked at him.
“What kind of a dumbass question is that?” Bakugou grunted, “what’s this got to do with anything?”
You looked from the doctor to Bakugou, still with hand over your mouth.
“What?” he grunted at you.
“Katsuki… I’m… I think I’m…”
“Yes. You’re pregnant V/N,” the doctor said.
Bakugou’s eyes widened and he stared at you. Neither of your speaking for a second.
“A… kid? A damn baby?” Bakugou asked, the way he said it though wasn’t matching the look on his face as tears brimmed his lower lids.
You nodded slowly.
“You’re staying home and not going anywhere, understand?” Bakugou said as he stood up and grabbed you in a hunched over hug, “you grow that little squirt, leave the rest to me,” he added, squeezing his eyes closed as he held you.
Those next 4 months flew by. You had been about 5 months along when you had been diagnosed with baby and then finally the baby came.
A baby girl. – Katsana.
Bakugou loved his little girl and she was a chip off the old block- blond spikey hair but with eyes that were more like yours.
One night, when Katsana was 6 months old, she was stolen from her crib, as you all slept one night, and it was only because Bakugou heard a soft noise next door that he got up, and found her gone.
With one hand quickly pressed to the cot bedding, he could still feel the warmth from where her little body had lain and knew he had a chance of getting her back quickly since it obviously hadn’t been long since she had been taken.
You awoke to hear him swearing, then a loud explosion, and flew out of bed to find out what the hell was going on.
As you ran into the next room, you saw Katsana was gone, and there was a massive exploded hole in the wall of the room.
You knew something wasn’t right and so quickly ran to the hole in the wall and used your sand quirk to get to the roof of the house next door so you could see better.
In the distance, you saw an all black figure carrying something, and Bakugou flying after them, using the explosions from his palm to propel him forward.
“What is he doing? Where’s Katsana?”
When, in the distance, you heard the unmistakable giggle from your little girl, followed by a small cry as the blackened out figure jumped from a roof and disappeared over the edge.
“Katsana!!” Your petrified scream echoed off the surroundings.
