Bakugou was the next to exit the classroom and stopped in his tracks.
“What are you doing here?” He growled at you.
“Y-you told me to drop by!?” You stammered, taken aback by his rudeness. “Wait did he not mean school? Where else was I supposed to ‘drop by?'”
You stepped back, intending to make a run for it. You could feel the heat of embarrassment rising in your face but his words stopped you short.
“You knew his name didn’t you?” He said lowly. Nodding to the still shocked and frozen green haired boy.
You nodded slowly.
“How did you know his name?” Bakugou insisted, crossing his arms across his chest.
“I… I don’t know?” You replied, just as confused as the poor boy you had correctly called Midoriya.
“Come here.” Bakugou demanded and you gingerly stepped towards him. “Where do I sit?” He asked, gesturing to the classroom of half empty seats.
“How would I know where you si-.”
“Just walk to my seat.” He growled giving you a sharp shove between your shoulder blades.
You stumbled forwards and made your way down the isles. “What kind of a weird game is this?! How the heck would I know where he sits I’ve never been to this school befo-.” You stopped and looked across at the seat by the window. You felt drawn to it so walked over and sat down.
Bakugou’s eyes widened.
“This one?” You asked apprehensively
He nodded stiffly and your jaw dropped.
He started walking down the isle towards you and made his way over to the front of the desk, leaning down on it with both arms and staring into your eyes. You took a sharp breath in. Those red orbs were truly captivating.
“Do you remember anything yet?” He said lowly, his rich voice reverberating though you.
“I… What? Remember anything?” You asked, tilting your head to the side. “Have I been here before?”
He just peered at you intently and you knitted your brows together, thinking deeply.
He watched you as your brain ticked over, suddenly your finger started to tingle and your eyes widened in fright. “Bakugou.” You said, fear rising in your voice.
“Do you remember something?” He asked, a hint of hopefulness in his tone.
“No I think I’m… an attack is…”
He knew exactly what was going to happen and reached across the table and grabbed you in his arms, scooping you up and running for the door. You went rigid and started to fit so he placed you down on the floor gently just outside the classroom door and hollered at the last of the students that were nearby to call for recovery girl (the on site nurse.).
As you slipped into unconsciousness you saw flashes of memories of this very school, conversations between yourself and other classmates. You called them by name and they responded. You were in a male uniform when you looked down. Why were you in a male uniform?!
…………
When you woke up you were in what looked like a holding bay for sick students. You rolled your head to the side and Bakugou was sitting beside you, arms crossed, peering at you intently.
You jumped slightly, not expecting him to be there. “Bakugou what is going on?” You asked, clearly confused.
He grunted and leaned forward, elbows on his knees. “You want to know the truth?”
You nodded solemnly.
“Can you handle the truth?” He smirked, remembering a similar line from a movie he saw.
“Try me.” You shrugged.
He sighed and hung his head. “Where do I start?” He mumbled.
He started talking about how one day he woke up and he was in another persons body. How it seemed unbelievable but yet it was happening. He told about the person’a life, giving descriptions but no names. You listened intently.
“But what does this have to do with me?” You asked, trying to prop yourself up in the bed.
“Because the person’s body I swapped with was your’s. It happened for a good part of the year then suddenly it stopped.”
You just stared at him. “Ok weird question.” You blurted suddenly. “But do you have a six pack?”
He snorted in surprise. “What?….this?” He stood up and lifted his shirt with one hand, revealing an unbelievable well toned set of abdominal muscles. 39
Your jaw fell open. “Ok so that’s a yes… now I have an odd request.” You said sitting up slowly. “Can… can you come over here a second?”
He complied and you motioned for him to sit down on the bed. You scooted behind him and peeked over his shoulder, looking down at his abs. It was exactly the same view you had seen in the strange Deja vu dream type thing you had had when you were unconscious after the seizure.
You froze. “I’ve seen this view before.” You whispered.
“And did you like it?” He said lowly with a sly grin, watching you from the corner of his eyes.
You blushed and pulled away.
“Don’t forget I’ve seen you topless too.” He smirked, turning to face you on the bed.
Your blush deepened. “D-DON’T L-L-LOOK AT ME WITHOUT MY CLOTHES!” You stammered with embarrassment.
“Eh, don’t worry you have nothing to brag about. You’re flat as a pancake.” He said dismissively
That hurt and you scowled. “Well then leave me alone alright? I’m obviously not your type so stop appearing everywhere I go.”
“Says the girl who is sitting in the nurses office at my school.” He sneered.
“I only came because you asked me to.” You pouted.
“And you came.” He said smuggly. “Plus who said anything about a ‘type?’ You know something more about this don’t you?” His pointed question caused you to get a little flustered and you backed up a bit, averting your eyes.
He grabbed your ankles and pinned them to the bed, crawling up closer to you so he could lock you down a bit more. “Talk.” He commanded, his eyes burning into you.
“I-i don’t know what you’re talking ab-.”
“Don’t you dare lie.” He sneered. “I’m not stupid. I also heard about the soulmates thing.”
Your face flushed red and your heartbeat went wild.
