“Boy, if you heard me dirty talk for real, you would evaporate instantly,” you replied, grabbing his elbow and helping him up, “let’s just not even go down that rabbit hole.”
Iida remained silently blushing as he allowed you to drag him to his feet and out of his room then off down the hall and out to where Walter had the car waiting.
“I can’t believe we’re just casually going to France… to buy a chair,” you mumbled to yourself, sliding across the back seat of the car and waiting for Iida to hop in beside you.
“We are not buying a chair. We are buying everything you need for your apartment,” Iida commented as he settled in beside you.
You chuckled and rolled your eyes, placing one hand on his thigh.
“Broski, it’s just me. I just need one chair.”
Iida glanced down at your hand on his leg and blushed again before looking away out the window.
“What’s wrong?” you asked deviously, squeezing his leg a little.
“Y-Your hand….”
“It’s not high up enough? … Ok,” you said, slowly sliding your hand up his thick thigh teasingly.
“Y-Y/N, we have company present,” he whispered fearfully glancing at the back of the car driver’s head.
You chuckled and removed your hand from his leg and patted his arm instead, “it’s ok, innocent one, I won’t drag you to the dark side just yet.”
“I would appreciate not being taken to the dark side, ever,” he replied earnestly.
You smirked then turned away and looked out the window, watching the houses roll by.
Iida glanced at you then down at your leg, wondering if he should reach out and touch you.
He started to make his move but then decided not to, choosing to retract his hand and place it on his own leg instead.
“Best I not be too forward.” He thought, “I will let her take her own time. She is getting more comfortable with me and I am grateful for that,” he smiled to himself and looked out the other window.
It wasn’t long before you arrived at the private airport and hopped out, following Iida along the tarmac to a small private jet that was waiting for you both.
“Master Iida, welcome aboard,” the male flight attendant greeted.
“Thank you, sir, please may I introduce my girlfriend- Y/N, L/N,” Iida said with a bow.
“Just call me, Y/N,” you said to the guy as you took his outstretched hand for a handshake, “I thrive on informalities.”
“Very well, Y/N, a pleasure to have you on board,” the attendant said with a polite nod of his head.
Iida led the way inside and you followed, choosing a seat opposite him with a table between the two of you.
“Yo,” you said as you looked around, “this plane is amazing?!”
“This is our ‘day trips’ plane,” Iida said with a smile, “we use one of the other two larger ones for longer trips.”
You let your head flop forward and bang on the table, making Iida and the attendant jump with fright.
“Y/N?!” Iida asked with concern.
“Sorry, the amount of rich in your comment made me temporarily pass out from poor blood pressure.”
“Should I call for emergency services?” the attendant asked seriously.
“It’s a joke,” you deadpanned looking at the attendant, “I’m fine.”
“Oh, I see,” he replied sheepishly, “Master Iida, your girlfriend is …. delightfully quirky.”
“Aka: weird,” you interjected, “but I’m ok with that.”
Iida smiled at you, “she is perfect just the way she is,” he said softly.
Your heart snapped backwards then recoiled and you looked away, trying to act disinterested as you focused on calming your beating heart.
After a short safety briefing from the attendant you settled in for take off then relaxed as the plane leveled out and headed for France.
“Would you like to watch a movie?” Iida asked, once you had been bought drinks at the table.
“Yeah, guess so,” you replied, taking a sip of your drink.
“What would you like to watch?” Iida asked.
“I don’t know, what do you want to watch?” you asked him.
“There is a new movie out called: Two Heroes,” Iida said, “I have heard it is very good, the main actors are Midoriya Izuku and Yagi Toshinori.”
“I like Midoriya, he’s a good actor,” you replied, getting up from your seat and following Iida into the small theatre on the plane.
He sat down on the double reclined leather chair and you sat beside him, the two of you looking quite stiff.
Iida called for the attendant to set up the movie and after a few seconds it started and the black curtains were drawn so that you could enjoy the movie in peace.
“I’m gonna lean on you because I can,” you mumbled, pulling your legs up comfortably and leaning your body into Iida’s side, making him reflexively wrap his arm around you as you snuggled in.
You were trying to focus on the movie but being cuddled into Iida’s side had your full attention on him and you became keenly aware of just how heavy his heartbeats were.
“Does this make you uncomfortable?” you asked him, tilting you head up to look at him.
He shook his head as he looked down at you, “no, it does not- but I would be telling a mistruth if I said your resting against me was not distracting… in a good way…”
Now it was your turn for your heart to start pumping faster and the two of you remained looking into each other’s eyes, wondering if you should make the next move.
Iida cleared his throat and started to slowly bend his head down to yours and you tilted your face slightly so that your lips could meet his, closing that gap to show him you were ready for the kiss.
Surprisingly there was immediate chemistry that coursed between you, his softly parted lips meeting with yours as you shared a gentle first kiss in the cinema room on the plane.
You didn’t realize that you had closed your eyes as the kiss started, only noticing once he had pulled back and your eyelids fluttered back open.
“My apologies, Y/N, that kiss was a little too heavy for a first kiss, our lips were parted,” he whispered with embarrassment.
“You know what? I liked that, because most guys try and force their tongue down your throat on the first go,” you replied, “so that was a nice, normal kiss.”
“Would…. would it be too much to ask for another one?” Iida asked shyly.
“Not at all,” you replied with a smile, eagerly reaching your face up to his for your lips to meet again.
