Survivor Games Chapter 8: Wrapping Up

“The light!” Kaminari screeched in his best vampire voice and you shook your head with a chuckle as you continued up the stairs.

As you got to the top, Aizawa and Iida walked out of the elevator nearby and you quickly let go of Tamaki’s hand.

There was a policy about showing affection to he opposite sex and you could see by the look on Aizawa’s face that he was already not in the best mood so it would probably be for the best that you didn’t push his buttons.

“Attention- class 1-A!” Iida called loudly from beside Aizawa, “please gather.”

“Oops… I think we might be in trouble,” you whispered to Tamaki, hanging your head a little as you sheepishly left his side and walked over to Aizawa and Iida.

Slowly everyone came out of their hiding spots and a pair of pants came floating out from behind the pot plant nearby.

“So that’s where you were hiding!” Kaminari said to Hagakure, “I was trying to find you because if I tagged you in then it would be like getting a rare Pokémon. That would have been so cool to yell out ‘Hagakure is in’!”

“Don’t treat her like a prize,” Jirou snorted coming up behind him.

“I would have been shocked if anyone had found me,” Hagakure replied with a giggle. 

“Although…” Ojiro said, walking up as well.

“Oh! Yes! Ojiro ran into me,” she chuckled, “I was changing places and we collided.”

“I thought someone had suddenly developed a force field quirk,” Ojirou said with a chuckle.

Slowly everyone gathered in front of Aizawa, who was getting more and more annoyed with how slow everyone was being.

“Do you know what time it is?” he suddenly snapped.

“Uh… no?” Kaminari answered stupidly.

His eyes glowed red as he looked at the blond, making Kaminari shrink back in fear.

“It’s 3:30am… AM as in, in. The. Morning.” he said in a restrained voice.

“We are sorry, Aizawa, we didn’t realize the time. The power went out,” Momo said with polite apology.

“Yes. Iida came and woke me when he couldn’t fix it himself. So while you were all running around like fools you left your classmate with all the responsibility,” he said angrily.

“He gets off on that kinda thing,” M*neta whispered, making Sero and Kaminari crack a smirk.

“Silence!” Aizawa snapped, hair standing on end immediately.

Everyone clammed up.

“Go to bed, all of you. You’ll be staying back on Monday to write lines and doing extra laps during training,” he growled.

The faces of everyone in the room fell.

“Go,” he snapped again, making everyone slink away quickly.

Tamaki followed you to the kitchen, where you helped to tidy up a little before turning in for the night.

“I’m sorry that we didn’t get a lot of time together tonight,” you said sadly to him.

He shook his head, his sharp gaze looking at you softly.

“I am glad I came… otherwise we wouldn’t have had the chance to talk and…”

“Date,” you added.

Momo looked up as you said date and looked from you to Tamaki then back to you, then down at the table again.

It didn’t take long to tidy up, then you saw Tamaki off with a quick hug and a promise to see each other again soon, then headed down the hall to your room.

Along the way, Momo caught up with you.

“Umm… Y/N, forgive me for overhearing your conversation with Tamaki-senpai earlier but you mentioned the word… date?”

You thought a moment then remembered what she was referring to and why she had bought it up.

“Oh that’s right! I kissed her… multiple times tonight!” 

“Umm, yes…” you stopped to look at her. “I know you and I kissed… multiple times tonight …and it’s all very confusing, but umm, I’ve had a crush on Amajiki for the longest time and he finally returned my feelings tonight which is… surreal… and—.”

“Oh! Congratulations!” she said with a bright smile, “I just wanted to talk to you… I think what I was going to say to you in the bathroom, was a decision made in haste- but upon further musings I was going to tell you that I don’t think I’m ready for a female relationship. It’s nothing against you, I just don’t understand myself yet and my parents would….”

“I get it,” you chuckled, “we’re still ok though, right?” 

“Oh yes! I do consider you very special,” she said with a light blush, “and I thank you for the kisses. We will still remain close.”

“That’s great,” you said with a relieved smile, giving her a hug.

She returned your hug and peeled off from you to go to her room and you thought you had avoided any more confrontations for the night but as you rounded the corner to your room you saw Todoroki AND Bakugou having a Mexican stand off at your door.

“Uh… hi, you two…” you said sheepishly, “what’s up?”

“Y/N,” Todoroki spoke, “I am here to make sure that even if you choose not to date me. Your choice is not Bakugou.”

“Haaaaah?!” Bakugou growled, tilting his head up and looking down at Todoroki with a very delinquent type look to his face.

“Ok,” you said, placing your palms out to both of them like Chris Pratt keeping the velociraptors at bay, “listen… ok first, Bakugou. You gave me the courage to ask out the guy I have liked for a while. And he said yes… and Todoroki,” you paused and bowed your head, “I am very sorry but I will have to politely decline your offer to date… as I am now dating Amajiki Tamaki-senpai.”

“Many congratulations, Y/N,” Todoroki said in a stoic voice, “I am happy if you are content and I will patiently wait my turn to date you.”

“That’s so bold,” you chuckled at Todoroki.

“Get in line, icyhot bastard,” Bakugou growled, “I’m still not giving up.”

“Eh?” you asked with a sweatdropped look on your face, “you were both interested in me? Is this my peak? Have I peaked? Tonight has been wild.”

“It is no secret that I have developed feelings for you, Y/N but I do hope we remain friends while you are in a relationship with Tamaki senpai,” Todoroki said with a small bow.

“I’ll blast him if he ever makes you cry,” Bakugou growled.

“Bakugou,” you deadpanned, “this is Tamaki senpai… it would be more like me making him cry.”

“Then don’t make him cry,” Bakugou grunted.

“Who’s side are you on?” You laughed, “ok, anyway, thank you both of you, but we need to go to bed before Aizawa catches us out in the hall.”

They both left with their usual departure greetings, leaving you to enter you room alone and flop into the bed.

“What a wild night! So this is the hero course, huh? Crazy…”

And with that you fell asleep.
