“So you like her too,” Todoroki said, narrowing his eyes at Bakugou.
There was no reply from the blond, he had already said his piece.
Silence hung in the air, the only constant sound being the hum of the fridge. Nothing more was said between the two headstrong males and Todoroki turned to leave, leaving Bakugou to think alone.
“I don’t think she likes me like that anyway but I can’t lose to half and half,” he thought with a scowl.
You had marched to the front of the shop with your ice creams and slapped the tubs down onto the conveyor belt for the lady to scan and she just gave your charred self a very dubious look before scanning the items and giving you the price.
With Kaminari still beside you, you left the store and headed back to the dorms, still a little annoyed at the explosive blond for blasting you like that- even if it had been an accident.
“You sure you’re ok?” Kaminari asked as you walked together.
“Yeah,” you grunted with annoyance.
“No you’re not. I’m not smart at all but even I can tell you’re not ok.”
“Stupid ass Bakugou, going and blasting me like that right when I was in the middle of…” You paused, you didn’t want to tell Kaminari about how you had been very happily pinned under Todoroki. “… uh… getting ice cream.”
“You like ice cream that much,” Kaminari commented with a chuckle, “it’s almost how much I like…”
His voice trailed off and you looked at him.
He glanced at you then quickly looked away bashfully and scratched his cheek.
“Never mind,” he mumbled.
Curiousity got you by the collar and you looked at him a little more closely.
“What?” you pressed.
“Nah,” he chuckled dismissively, “it’s nothing, sorry…”
“What do you like?” you asked again.
“It’s more like… who…” he mumbled shyly.
“Do you have a crush?! Who is it?” you gasped, all annoyances about Bakugou, gone.
“Y/N!! Sorry we left! Everything is all set up in the kitchen now,” Uraraka called from the school gate ahead.
Her and the others had left the shop before you had to get things set up at the dorms for that nights games. You had completely disappeared too. She didn’t see you go into the freezer and had thought you might have left already.
“Oh! It’s fine, here’s the ice cream,” you said, handing over the two tubs to her.
“Awesome! Thank you,” she replied with a bright smile, “I’ll go and put them in the fridge.”
“Yeah, cool, I’m just going to clean up because…” You gestured to all of you and for the first time Uraraka noticed that you were charred and exploded down one side.
“Woah?! What happened?” she asked.
“Bakugou,” you growled, all that irritation pouring back into your soul.
“Ok. I should have guessed that,” she replied with a slightly sweatdropped look on her face.
Now, with the questions to Kaminari forgotten, you walked past her and back to your dorm room, heading to the showers and leaving Kaminari to watch you leave.
“Maybe I’ll confess to her tonight,” he thought, pushing his hands into his pockets and joining Uraraka as she walked back to the common room and kitchen.
You had your shower and felt a little better. The hot water worked its magic to erase the displeasure at Bakugou, and you got into a nice outfit and headed down the hall to where the night’s activities would begin.
Momo had already laid out most of the food and you gasped with excitement when you saw it on the low table in the middle of the room.
“I’ll be the taste tester!” you said with a bright cheeky smile, raising your hand.
“Not until everyone gets here,” she chided, looking over at you with her beautiful expressive eyes.
Suddenly the nervous butterflies sprung up in your stomach and you gave her a shaky smile in response, feeling a little self conscious around her.
She was dressed beautifully, as always, and you tried not to check her out but your eyes had a different idea and you found yourself detailing her form as she moved around.
“Ugh. Why did I have to go and get a crush on the cute girl who doesn’t even know I exist?” you moanedpitifully to yourself, “come to think of it, why did I have to be bi/pan? I’ve literally got a soft spot for almost everyone in this stupid ass class.”
Just then Mineta walked in and you frowned.
“Ok, not everyone…”
“What are we doing first?” Kirishima asked as he walked in, hyped about the night ahead.
“Eating,” you replied to the cute redhead, turning and throwing your arms around him in a hug.
He blushed and looked away shyly as you hugged him, mumbling something about any food being good.
More people started to trickle in and you greeted each one, chatting a little with them while Kirishima watched you from the corner of his eye.
“She’s so bright and friendly, I really like Y/N because of that…”
Once everyone was in the room, Iida did his usual ‘class rep’ speech then you all sat down to snack and chat.
“We need some music,” you said to Jirou, who you were sitting next to on the lounge.
“Yeah, totally,” she said, sitting up a little straighter and leaning forward to call to someone, “hey Kaminari, where are your wireless speakers?”
“In my room, why?” he asked.
“Get them. We need music,” she replied.
“But they need charging?” he said back sadly.
“You are literally a human charger,” you chuckled, “charge them up.”
“Oh… yeah, I guess I can.” He got up and headed for the door. “I’ll be back.”
It didn’t take him long to get them, then he was back in the room and standing in front of you before you knew it.
“Oh! Awesome,” you said brightly, taking the speakers from him when he held them out to you.
“I’ll sync,” Jirou said, taking the speakers from you and setting it all up.
“Where’s the charger cable?” you asked Kaminari, who fished it out of his pocket and handed it to you.
You took it from him and directed him to lay down on the lounge next to you.
“Rest your head on my legs,” you offered, stroking his forehead as he rested back.
He sighed and relaxed immediately, happy that he was getting to be so close to you.
You took the charger cord and with a devious smirk, put the charger end up his nose which made him jump violently, and you chuckled heartily.
“Wrong hole!” he hollered.
“That’s what she said!” Mineta hollered back.
