Kuroo slowly inched his fingers further up between your legs and your eyelids fluttered the further he slid up.
“If you don’t tell me to stop, I just may end up going all the way,” he teased in a cocky low voice.
“Sir. This is a public bus,” you hissed, grabbing his wrist to stop him.
“Ah, we’ll just have to continue this later then,” he leered as he pulled his hand back and patted your thigh then looked away.
Without warning you reached between his legs and grabbed a handful of his junk, making him screech and jump wildly.
“Payback,” you sneered.
“Oh?” His lips pulled into a devious smirk, “well, two can play that game.”
“Nope. Nope. Nope,” you chanted softly, trying not to laugh too loudly as you successfully blocked every single one of his attempts to grab you between your thighs, “man, I’m amazing at this blocking stuff, y’all hiring?” you teased casually, still thwarting his valiant efforts.
“You’d make an amazing middle blocker except you’re height challenged.”
“Bro. I’m not even that small,” you snapped, playfully offended by his comment.
“I know, but you always bite back and it’s so much fun,” he replied reaching around you and pulling you into his side so he could kiss the top of your head.
“Help. I’m being suffocated by one of those flailing things from outside car dealerships.” you mumbled into his arm.
Kuroo let out his unhinged, beautifully disastrous laugh.
………………………………
Nervously you entered the hospital with Kuroo beside you, and headed for the elevator to see your pa.
Your mind was elsewhere as you walked, thinking about your pa and if he had woken up and Kuroo could see you were getting more and more agitated as you got to the elevator.
Once inside the small lift you picked the level number and let out a sigh.
No sooner had the sigh escaped your lips you were kabedonned against the wall and a hot, soft mouth, connected with yours.
“Just thinking you could do with a distraction,” Kuroo commented after giving you a nice long kiss.
“Well… it worked,” you said with surprised look on your face, “thanks,”
“No problem at all.”
The elevator doors opened and you both hopped out, looking like nothing had happened at all.
Mechanically you started off down the hall to your pa’s room, ears straining to hear his voice as you got closer to his door.
“Pa?” you asked softly as you pushed the door open a little and stepped inside.
The rhythmic beep of the heart monitor replied you but unfortunately that was the only reply. Your pa was still unconscious, lying peacefully in the bed and your heart sank a little.
“I was kinda hoping he would have been awake by now,” you thought as the hopeful expression on your face faded.
Kuroo placed a gentle hand on your shoulder and you turned into him for a hug.
“Is he really going to be ok?” you whispered into Kuroo’s shirt, “I just want my pa back.”
“He’s resting,” Kuroo replied, “he needs the rest, don’t rush him. He’ll be back and bouncing in no time.”
Although Kuroo wasn’t medically trained whatsoever -and really didn’t know if your pa was going to make it or not, his words comforted you, and you hugged him tighter to show your gratitude.
“Hi pa,” you croaked, pulling your head back from Kuroo and looking across at the still figure in the hospital bed.
“Your favourite grandson is here,” Kuroo said happily with a closed eyed smile, “it’s me. I’m the grandson.”
“No I’m the favourite,” you pouted, craning your head back to look up at Kuroo’s smug face.
“Ok, I’ll let you have this one win,” he said with a sigh as he let you go and stepped back to flop down in the chair bedside the hospital bed, sinking down into it and spreading his legs open comfortably then resting his elbow on the arms of the chair and sitting his chin into the crook of his fingers with one supporting the side of his face, his feline irises seductively watching you.
“Fuck you, Tit, you’re too hot,” you groaned internally, clearing your throat and walking around to the other side of the bed so that Kuroo couldn’t seduce you.
He watched you, slowly tilting his head to the side and back a little so that his eyes were always on you and you tried to ignore him as you gently placed a hand on your pa’s.
“I miss you at home,” you said with a sad little smile at the withered man, “it’s quiet. And your cabbages miss you too.”
“Have you been watering them?” Kuroo asked, “pa will wake up if you’re not looking after them.”
“I-I have been looking after them,” you stammered, trying to cover your lie, “I watered them… on.. uh…”
You were going to try and lie again but Kuroo had been with you over the weekend so he knew you hadn’t looked after pa’s cabbages.
“Well anyhow, I’d better get going and tend to them again,” you said quickly, “I’ll see you tomorrow ok, pa?”
Kuroo stood to leave as well, pushing his hands into his pockets as you walked around the bed to his side.
“Better get those cabbages fed and watered,” he teased, “you’ll have hell to pay if they die.”
“Shhhh!” you hissed, “pa can hear you!”
Kuroo grabbed you in a hug and started walking towards the door with you still in his embrace but walking backwards.
“We’ll be back, pa,” he called, “I’ll take good care of your girl and your cabbages.”
You called your goodbye as well but it was lost in Kuroo’s school jacket and you tried to wrestle yourself free of his arms but he didn’t want to let you go.
Once out into the hall he finally let you turn around so you could walk beside him to the elevator.
“So! Home time now?” he asked expectantly.
“You gonna stay for dinner?”
“I’d stay till the morning if you asked me to,” he replied with a smirk.
You smirked back and elbowed him, “you already did the other night.”
“Wanna do a repeat of that night? That was fun,” he flirted with a wink, pressing the button on the elevator as you stopped next to it.
“Didn’t you say we were gonna do something on the lounge though?” you enquired teasingly.
“We can do things all over the house if you’re interested.”
“Bake cookies?” you asked with sudden excitement, “but how are we gonna bake cookies in the laundry?”
“Oh it’s easy, you sit on top of the machine then lean back and put your le—,”
“THIS IS NO LONGER ABOUT COOKIES, TIT!” you gasped loudly with embarrassment, cutting his sentence short.
