In keeping with the traditional way of cutting the cake, you and Butterfli3 each cut a piece and fed it to each other.
Butterfli3 was very careful to make sure that it all went into your mouth, but you got a little bit of it smeared on his nose… which made him blush when you kissed and licked it off.
“Get married!” SSG69 hollered from the sidelines, her hand firmly clenched in Migata’s.
“We are!” you shouted back with a grin, licking the extra cake off your lips as you threw your arms around Butterfli3’s neck and leaned in to kiss his cheek.
“There’s a lot of kissing today,” he said softly with a smile, quietly happy that he was getting a lot more extra special attention from you.
“It’s a special day!” you replied, letting your arms go from around his neck and stepping back to take his hand.
At that point, Migata signaled the band to start playing and they immediately struck up a song, playing a cover of your favourite song as you and Butterfli3 took to the dance floor that had been set up.
“O-O/N… I’m not good at dancing,” Butterfli3 whispered nervously as you got him to the centre of the floor.
“Don’t be shy! Just move with me,” you said with a giggle as you tugged on his hand and started dancing away while pulling him around.
“Butterfli3!” Migata shouted as he let go of SSG69’s hand, letting her run to join you on the dance floor, “here! I’ll help!”
The combat mage quickly opened his inventory and pulled out a rare looking potion then tossed it to Butterfli3- who caught it with one hand.
The new husband placed the potion bottle to his lips and drank the contents down, freezing in place as the bottle emptied and vanished into thin air.
“What was in that?” you shouted to Migata over the sound of the music playing.
“A dance potion!” Migata called back, grinning when he saw Butterfli3 starting to move.
All of a sudden your man jumped to life and started doing the best dance moves you had ever seen.
“Yuhhh! Get it baby!” your best friend hollered when she saw Butterfli3 making moves.
“Go baby, go baby, go!” you cried, watching your man dance his heart out as you and your bestie danced as well.
“How do you stop this?!” your poor man wailed, unable to stop his arms from swinging and his legs from kicking and doing all kinds of other things.
“It’ll wear off in a few seconds!” Migata called out, thoroughly enjoying himself from the sidelines.
The rest of the attendants had all jumped onto the dance floor as well- now that Butterfli3 was having the time of his life, and it was getting harder to see him in amongst the people as they crowded around him.
“Is he ok in there?” you called to SSG69 who was just vibing by herself on the outskirts of the dance floor a little way away from you.
“I have no idea? He hasn’t called for help or anything yet so I’m assuming he’s fine. Let the man live a little,” she replied, still dancing away.
“Somehow I don’t think he would consider this… living,” you thought with an internal chuckle.
Before you could step forward and check on him he found his way out of the dancing crowd, waking normally as the dancing potion had worn off by then.
“Are you ok?” you asked with a small chuckle when you saw the look on his face.
“I would take fighting any day. Dancing is very tiring and hard to do,” he replied in a sad voice.
You giggled and hugged him around the middle. “Not long now and then we can leave and have our own little dance.”
Butterfli3 looked at you, momentarily confused as to what you were meaning by ‘dance’ and then it hit him.
“I… I uh… still haven’t told you where we’re honeymooning, have I?” he asked bashfully.
“You haven’t! That’s right, you’ve been keeping it a secret all this time,” you said, squeezing his torso a little, “spill your secrets, baby, I need to know where we’re going.”
“Bitch, if you ain’t gonna dance, don’t kill the vibe. MOVE.” your best friend snapped from beside you.
You and Butterfli3 were right in her and Migata’s way on the dance floor and she was less than impressed that you had curbed the flow of her and Migata’s salsa dance.
“Oops, sorry,” you said quickly, side stepping out of the way, “I didn’t mean to get in your way.” Your tone grew in volume. “You know… considering it’s your special day and all!” you shouted the last part at her as she and Migata quick salsa’d away.
“I’m the best friend, I get the spotlight!” she shouted in reply as she disappeared off in his arms.
“Pretty sure it’s supposed to be the limelight for the best friend and spot light for the bride but ok.”
“Umm so…” Butterfli3 said shyly, bringing your attention back to him now that you had both stepped off the dance floor. “Do you remember the beach level that had a few secluded villas on islands?”
“Oh my god, you didn’t?!”
“I did.”
“You did?!”
“Yes.”
“You really did?!”
“Uh… yes…”
“Level 36?!”
“I… I don’t know how many more times to say it?” Butterfli3 said with a sheepish scratch to the back of his head.
“Aaaaaaaa!” you screeched, “I’m so excited! Let’s go now! It’s our wedding so we can leave whenever we want!”
“I’ll go whenever you want to go,” Butterfli3 replied, smiling happily at you as you bounced a little on your toes.
“Ok. We’re going now! Let’s go.” You quickly turned to everyone on the dance floor and hollered at the top of your lungs “BYE EVERYONE, WE’RE GOING!”
Everyone stopped and looked over at you, having temporarily forgotten that the reason they were all dancing on level 44 was because of your and Butterfli3’s wedding.
In a rush, they came running off the dance floor to congratulate you both and hug you once again before you went to your honeymoon destination.
“I’ll see you at school tomorrow!” you called to you best friend- who was over the other side of the dance floor- and she threw you the peace sign before continuing to dance with Migata.
“I’ll hug and congratulate you, again, then!” she shouted back.
“She gets it,” you chuckled, unfazed that she hadn’t tried to push through the crowds to get to you.
With final goodbyes said, you and Butterfli3 hopped up onto the blue teleportation ring and held hands as you waved to the people gathered.
“Level 36!” Butterfli3 called loudly up into the teleport ring and you both vanished and reappeared on the platform of level 36.
The weather on that level was so different to the weather on level 44 and you immediately fanned yourself.
“I’m so overdressed!” you said playfully, looking down at your wedding outfit then down at the perfect white sand that lined the beach.
