She approached the larger guy slowly and dropped her gaze as she fiddled with her hands.
“Hey, uh… I umm… I’m just gonna cut to the chase ok? I know we don’t really know each other in game well… but I kinda really really like you and I’d like to get to know you more…”
Praetorian sighed heavily again and hung his head.
“Umm, Delilah, I’m actually a chick in real life,” he said bluntly, “I’m sorry for the shock. I kinda felt like you liked me so I kept my distance a little so that I wouldn’t have to tell you about my real gender. I never meant to deceive you.”
“Oh!” Delilah replied with surprise, “no, no, that’s cool I’m not shocked or anything. Well, I kinda am, but at the same time I’m Bi so…”
“Serious? I’m a lesbian in real life so… yeah… I just like the idea of being a dude so this is an escape for me.”
“Oh my god, really?! You’re a lesbian? I don’t wanna be weird but what do you look like?” Delilah asked, “you don’t have to answer that if you don’t want to. I’m just curious if you have short hair and dress like a—,”
“Boyfriend? Yeah. I’m the boyfriend,” Praetorian chuckled, “I have short hair and tattoos.”
Delilah bit her lip.
“Fuck, that’s hot. Sorry. Not trynna be weird or anything,” she quickly followed up with.
Praetorian chuckled again. “Nah. It’s fine. What about you?”
“I’m kinda… I dunno. I like dressing femme but then I also love wearing baggy jumpers and stuff—,”
“You can wear my jumpers? They’re all baggy,” he flirted lightly.
Delilah blushed and giggle shyly.
“Umm… well… did you wanna meet up sometime, maybe? Hey, also…Is that your real voice?”
“I use a voice changer,” Praetorian replied, the sound of something flicking off following his comment, “this is my real voice,” a mid range pleasant voice said.
“Oh shit your voice is hot,” Delilah gushed.
“Dude,” Praetorian chuckled, “stop. You’re making me smile too much.”
“You’re cute,” she giggled, “so… we should hang out more… I mean, like, in game obviously… I don’t know where you live…”
You eavesdropped with a smile from inside the house and pumped your fist with pride as you pushed off the door and walked over to Butterfli3.
“They’re talking,” you grinned, “I couldn’t let them not be together. Sounds like they’re getting along well.”
“I’m glad,” Butterfli3 said, reaching out to hug you, “we now have a little band of the four of us. And with Praetorian on our side… along with his help, he can get us through any BB buildings.”
“Sounds good to me,” you said, “so… what’s plans?”
“Tomorrow we need to go to the RFO headquarters and voice our concerns. Since we are heroes in training they will be more likely to listen to us… well… I’m hoping,” Butterfli3 said.
“They should,” you replied, “I mean, we can start there and then if they don’t want to listen to us/ don’t want to help us, then we can look at other ways to go about it?”
“I agree.”
………………………………..
And so the next day, you and Tamaki arrived outside the RFO headquarters, hand in hand, and ready to conquer the world.
“Ready?” you asked him, standing straight and tall as you stood on the front steps of the large building.
“N-No…” he whispered in a quivering voice, bottom lip crinkling up as he hung his head with fear.
“You were so confident yesterday in game! What happened?” you asked him gently with a sympathetic smile.
“I… I can’t be as confident in real life,” he replied.
“Of course you can! Chanel that inner Butterfli3!”
He took a shakey breath in and lifted his head, staring intently at the door with his piercing eyes.
“That’s it! Now let’s go,” you said with a smile, gripping his hand firmer as you pulled him towards the door.
It didn’t take long for one of the managers to see you in his office and he seemed quite keen to help once you had explained that the issue you were following up was breeching a numbers of laws.
Flashing your hero student badge certainly helped as well.
“What information do you need from us?” he asked, getting ready to type things into his computer.
Tamaki, who has been silent this whole time, suddenly spoke.
“Do you have anyone in your system that used of still uses the username: Anarchy_Lord?”
The manager typed the name in and to his surprise the name appeared- registered to a staff member who had been let go about a year ago.
“Yes. This username exists. I’m unsure if it is still active but it has the staff member’s name attached to it.”
“Can we please have the staff members name?” You asked.
“Yes of course. We still have all of his details on file here too if you need it for the police to apprehend him.”
“Thank you,” Tamaki said softly, “we need to confirm if he is indeed the leader of the team in the game we’re concerned about, and if he is then we will get the police involved.”
“Very well,” the manager replied, rolling his chair back to a filing cabinet behind him, “I have his file here…”
“Can I please see it?” you asked.
The manager nodded and rummaged through the drawer, then pulled out a relatively flat file and handed to you.
You took it with thanks and opened to the first page.
“Bevan Swan,” you said with a disappointed sound in your voice, “I kinda guessed he would be a Bevan.”
Tamaki just looked at you.
Scanning down the page, you saw it had all of his details there including home address and other pieces of information and you nodded with satisfaction.
“This is good. Thank you,” you said to the manager, “is it ok if we take this?”
“I’ll have a copy made for you,” he said, “but it must not leave your possession unless going to the police for evidence.”
“I understand,” you replied, bowing your head.
After collecting the information, you and Tamaki left and headed home.
“We should see if we can do a little background checking and see if he has written anything online to prove that he’s running the BB,” you said.
“Would he have said anything online?” Tamaki asked.
“He doesn’t strike me as the very smart type so I’m sure he as written something online, and since we know his name now we can find his insta, Facebook etc… I’m sure he’ll have written something stupid.”
“I’m happy to follow your lead,” Tamaki said with a loving smile.
