“He was just protecting her,” Jirou replied softly.
“What if they still went on a date, after?” Mina asked, her little conversation to Jirou going unnoticed in the background as Yaoyorozu apologized profusely to you.
“Miss L/N, I very humbly apologize for the actions of my staff member, whoever it may be! Please tell me who it was and I will see to it that they are heavily reprimanded for their actions!”
“No, please, it’s fine,” you said, holding your hands up to placate her, “there no need for any action to take place but if possible I would like to avoid the person at all costs.”
“Completely understandable,” Yaoyorozu said, still looking quite stricken that someone should have annoyed you this much with their personal desires.
“Did you go straight home after leaving?” Mina suddenly cut in.
“Uh… y-yes? Yes, of course, I did,” you stammered, “yes, I went home.”
“The urgent matter you spoke of… was to get away from my staff member,” Yaoyorozu suddenly gasped, “oh, Miss L/N, I didn’t even think that you were being made uncomfortable by someone. I am so sorry!”
“Yaoyorozu, it’s fine, please calm down,” you said with a sweat dropped look on your face. She was making such a scene.
Mina and Jirou both looked at each other with a knowing look. The way you had gotten a little flustered when Mina asked if you had gone straight home was enough to tell them you weren’t telling them the truth but they let it slide for now since Yaoyorozu was having conniptions over the fact that someone had wronged you.

At the end of that week, Aizawa allowed a class for the students to continue with festival plans and you and he were pulled aside to try on different outfits.
“The girls and I,” Yaoyorozu stated proudly, “have been thinking about different styles to showcase for the fashion show, and we thought of doing a ‘hero fashion of the ages’ style show.”
“That sounds interesting,” you said encouragingly, “what era’s were you thinking?”
“Hero costumes from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and now,” she said, “showing the female costume progression and the male costume progression.”
“Well, I think that would be good?” you said again, looking at Aizawa who just nodded with his face half buried in his scarf, only his eyes showing from under his heavy messy fringe.
“So, if I could show you some of the designs?” Yaoyorozu asked you, “oh! And each costume will be revealed from underneath a different garment on top that will be pulled off, just for added dramatics.”
“Ok,” you said with a chuckle, “I do like these ideas, they’re quite innovative.”
“Oh! Why, thank you, Miss L/N,” Yaoyorozu replied with a giant grin on her face and a proud blush across her cheeks.
Aizawa just nodded silently again.
Yaoyorozu took over and showed you the sketches of a few of the outfits that she and the girls had come up with and you nodded your approval for each of them. It was clear that she had put a lot of time and effort into each of them and you were starting to get excited about showing them off.
“Now. For Mr Aizawa…” She reached back to her pile of sketches and grabbed out the male costume ones, holding the first one up for Aizawa to see.
Her first picture looked like a mix between Captain Levi Ackerman and Robin Hood and your nose almost bled at the mere thought of him in such an outfit.
“This is the 60’s look,” she said proudly, “dashing, relatively tight wear, but with a strongly masculine look to it.”
“You’re damn right about that, Yaoyorozu, can I see him in this outfit already?” you thirsted internally.
“Will the other students be in similar wear?” you asked, hoping that it wasn’t just going to be you and Aizawa doing the fashion show solo.”
“Oh yes!” Yaoyorozu replied, “most of the students have exterior roles but you and Mr Aizawa won’t be the only ones on stage.”
“Ok, just checking,” you chuckled.
………………………………………
Another few weeks passed and you and Aizawa seemed to be going well. You would talk on the phone after school some nights (the nights where he didn’t have hero work) and would sometimes steal sneaky kisses at school. And although he acted aloof most of the time, he had a warm side that would occasionally come out but it still felt a little cold at times.
Aizawa was enjoying being close with you, he didn’t want to admit it but he was infatuated with you. It was hard for him not to constantly look at you in class so he chose for you to do a lot of teaching over the next few weeks so he could stare at you during your lectures and not be called out for watching you.
There was, however, a war going on inside him. Truth be told, he was a little afraid of how much he was in love with you. You were on his mind constantly and he worried that something was going to happen to you so at times he would unintentionally distance himself as a protective mechanism so that he could try and regain his mind again.
But it was hard to not be around you or to not be able to touch you or hold you, so no sooner had he pulled away, he would be right back again, telling you he needed to speak with you in the staff room then locking the door on the two of you so that he could have a make out session without being caught.
So far, no one had suspected anything more than ‘unspoken about’ crushes between you both. You and Aizawa had been very careful not to get caught doing anything and had settled into a good routine now.
Weekends were spent in either his apartment or yours… between the sheets or in the lounge room. Whichever was closest when the passion took over, and weekdays were for chatting or meeting late for dinners together.
The weeks rolled by and the fashion show drew closer, so far you and Aizawa hadn’t tried any of the outfits on but Yaoyorozu had been doing a lot of measuring and the other students had been getting materials together for the big day.
It was now the week before the festival and all normal classes had been suspended for the time being so that all of the focus could be placed on preparing for the big day.
