“In any case, the minute I hear an explosion from him I will be right over,” he said, “most of the time we have walkie-talkies so do not hesitate to call for me should the need arise.”
“Do villains usually pop up when you’re out patrolling with students? I thought the fact that a larger number of heroes out and about would deter them.”
“No. Unfortunately. Some villains like for more heroes and hero students to be around so that they can make a bigger scene and get more publicity.”
“How annoying,” you scowled, noticing Aizawa’s hand had turned and was twisting up under the shirt that you were in.
“Mmm,” he hummed in agreement, his mind going elsewhere as his fingertips hit your soft side.
“I really enjoyed last night,” you whispered gently, changing the subject and allowing him to touch you more.
“As did I,” he replied, turning his head to yours as you looked up at him and pressed your lips to his.
The rest of the morning was spent in each other’s arms, kissing and caressing but not letting it go too far. Much to your surprise, it was nice to just make out on the lounge and do a little light petting without going the whole way.
And that night you fell asleep with a soft smile on your face, replaying everything that had happened over the weekend.
“That all went much better than expected… he actually opened up to me. I’m really glad we got to spend that time together,” you thought as you drifted off to dream land that night.
……………………………..
You were up early the next morning, eager to see your secret boyfriend, and paid extra attention to how you looked so that you could be on point for him, not that he cared much, he had seen you in far less and with less make up on and hadn’t said a thing.
“Good morning, Hizashi,” you greeted your co-worker happily, walking into the staff room.
“Good morning!” he greeted back loudly, “the ray of sunshine has entered the building!”
“Stop it, I’m more like a moudly ball of cheese with a torch behind it, but ok,” you said with a chuckle.
“Well,” he said in a gossipy voice as he slid up beside you and wiggled his eyebrows, “I know someone who has a thing for moudly cheese with a torch behind it.”
“I’m not even going to ask because this is a trap and you just want to try and get something out of me,” you replied smartly.
“Is there something to get out of you?” he asked in question, eyebrows wiggling their way up into his hairline.
“Nope,” you replied confidently before walking to your desk and gathering a few items while packing others away.
“Ohhh? Come now, you can tell uncle Hizashi,” the loud co-worker cajoled as he slid over to your desk and leaned suggestively down onto it.
“Why do I have to constantly save you from creeps?” Aizawa asked you in a dull tone as he entered the staff room and stared his friend down.
“I’m not creepy? Am I, Y/N?”
“Well?” you hummed indecisively.
“That’s not very plus ultra. I’m here to make everyone feel welcome!” he replied, straightening up and throwing his arms out wide.
“Then greet me in the same manner,” Aizawa challenged in a dead voice.
“Heyy, cutie,” Hizashi said quickly, sliding over to Aizawa’s side and throwing him the double finger guns before slinging an arm across his shoulders, “come here often?”
“I rest my case,” Aizawa commented bluntly, remaining unenthused by his friend’s very flirtatious greeting.
You quickly covered your mouth to stop the giggle but you made a small noise and Hizashi looked back at you.
“Awwww, come on, such a harsh crowd this morning!”
Just then Midnight entered and Hizashi grinned brightly at her.
“Good morning, hot stuff!”
“Hi Mic, how are you?” she asked nonchalantly, swinging her hips hypnotically as she entered the room.
“See?!” he exclaimed, gesturing to her dramatically, “she responds to my greeting just fine! Nemuri? Am I creepy?”
“Oh, 100 percent, honey, but if you get too much then I can just rip my clothes off and it’s all over for you.”
That reply curbed his enthusiasm and you again had to stifle a chuckle as his face fell.
“Ok. Uh, I’ll be going now,” you said, still trying to suppress your laugh as you walked to the staff room door with Aizawa following behind.
“Nemuri,” Aizawa called to her before he left the room, “I give you full permission to knock him out with your quirk.”
“Done,” she leered with a smirk.
“Hey now, come on, we’re all friends here this is live! Don’t gang up on me like this,” Hizashi called.
“Listen, Mic, if you’re gonna flirt with people don’t flirt with those who already have vested interests,” Midnight chided, her words floating out down the hall to your ears and you quickly glanced at Aizawa to see if he had heard as well.
“They don’t know. It’s speculation,” he commented, looking straight ahead as you headed to the classroom.
………………………………….
The day went well and you were happy and content with where you and Aizawa were at. A few times he caught you looking at him during class and returned your longing gaze with a small smirk and wink before looking back to whichever student was presenting at the front of the classroom.
None of the girls saw the exchanges between you two. They were still a little sad that you and he hadn’t stayed longer at Yaoyorozu’s house on the weekend so that they could implement some romantic time alone for the two of you.
Lunchtime came and you were again cordially invited to join them, which you agreed to.
“I am sorry I didn’t get to spend more time with you at the gathering on the weekend,” Yaoyorozu lamented to you as you sat side by side at the table.
“It’s fine,” you replied, “you were the host so you needed to be present for the rest of the students that were there.”
“I know. But even Mr Aizawa didn’t stay long,” she said.
“Yeah,” Mina piped up, “Jirou and I saw you two when he saw you off at the gates…”
“Oh. Yeah…” you said sheepishly, “I needed an escort.”
“Escort? Why?” Mina asked with confusion.
“I was having a little trouble,” you said diplomatically.
“How so?” Yaoyorozu asked with concern.
“I don’t want to say anything that would get anyone in trouble but I was uh… pestered for a date… by someone in particular, and although I had declined they kept asking… to the point where Aizawa had to step in and protect me from them,” you stated.
Yaoyorozu gasped with horror and covered her lips delicately.
“One of my staff?” she asked with mortification enveloping her entire being.
“Unfortunately, yes, but it is ok. There was no harm done.”
“Looks like we got it wrong,” Mina whispered to Jirou.
