Welcome back to another book! 

This is my second Haikyuu book, featuring none other than our boy Tobio Kageyama and a male reader! So, yes, this is an LGBTQ friendly book so if you’re not into reading about men loving men then I suggest you don’t read this story.

The time period of this book is set in the ancient kingdoms era somewhere around 1000 to 962 BCE. Please be aware that things talked about in this book are placed well within that time period- eg. Dress (as in, clothing attire) the hierarchy of men above women, concubines etc. So before you send me scathing messages about misogyny and women’s rights please note this information panel. 

Due to plot purposes, the male reader in this story will be cross-dressing. I understand that you, as the reader, may not be inclined to cross dress in real life and I support you doing whatever makes you feel comfortable, so please don’t think that this story has been written in a way to personally attack you- hopefully this is understood as the book unfolds. 

And one final thing. I do not condone concubinage or humans being used as a ‘service’ (referring to the sexual act of) to another but, again, in this time period it was common place and I am trying to keep the plot of this story in tact by sticking to references and study that I have done on the acts that were common place back then.
