Happy Birthday – MHA Boys x Fem!Reader 

*BANG* 

“Fuck!” 

“K-Kacchan, please….be careful with the balloons…” 

“I fucking know that already, deku, don’t tell me what to do.” Bakugou growled angrily as he yanked another balloon from the bag on the table. 

“Bro, you’re doing a good job, ok, just don’t blow the balloons up so much, they can’t handle your manly breathing power,” Kirishima called from where he was standing on the ladder helping Tamaki hang birthday banners and streamers for you birthday. 

Bakugou made a ‘tch’ noise and put the balloon to his lips, blowing firmly into it then tying it off and punching it across the room to a very stoic Todoroki who was then tying string to them and passing them to Kaminari to hang. 

“What time is Y/N coming again?” Midoriya asked from where he was hurriedly setting up food on the table, “this table is right in the way isn’t it? I should move it.” He crouched slightly and picked the table up, walking across the room with it effortlessly as he activated ‘all for one’ to help. 

“DON’T FUCKING MOVE THE TABLE YET, I’M STILL USING IT.” Bakugou barked, stalking after midoriya to retrieve the bag of balloons that were sitting on it. 

“How’s that, Tamaki-senpai?” Kirishima asked as he held up the birthday banner, looking back over his shoulder and down at the shy 3rd year student. 

Tamaki nodded gently. 

“It’s good.” He said in his soft voice as he looked up at Kirishima. 

*BANG* 

Tamaki’s form prickled sharply with fright from the loud noise and he hid his face against the base of the ladder. 

“For fucks sake!” Bakugou snapped as he flung the rest of the popped balloon across the room in the general direction of the bin. 

“Don’t leave it on the floor.” Todoroki said in his monotone voice, “this is all for Y/N’s birthday, it needs to be neat in here.” 

“Don’t fucking tell me what to do half and half, I’ll pick it up when I want to.” Bakugou growled at the duel haired boy. 

“Bakugou! Don’t make a mess!” Kirishima called sharply from up on the ladder. 

“Yeah, yeah, I’m getting it.” Bakugou mumbled angrily as he stalked over and picked up the deflated, popped balloon, then marched to the bin and dropped it in. 

“OI!” Kaminari hissed as he peeked out the window, “SHE’S COMING!” 

“SHE’S EARLY!” Midoriya panicked in a hushed tone, “QUICK! SOMEONE STALL TILL I GET THE CAKE!” 

“I got it!” Kaminari called back quietly as he quickly ran to the front door and opened it, stepping outside and closing the door behind him. 

As he was about to speak to you Shinsou called out from behind you, making you turn and look at him. 

“Going this way, Y/N?” Shinsou asked as he caught up to you. 

“Umm yeah? I got this really weird note in my locker that said I needed to come to the recreation room at 5pm today…” You said to him, utter confusion in your voice. 

“I got the same note actually.” Shinsou lied, he was part of the surprise but was running late because he had taken a nap and forgot to set his alarm. He had been hoping he would make it to the room before you did but unfortunately you were a step ahead of him, literally. 

“Hey babe.” Kaminari called from the front door of the recreation room. 

Both you and Shinsou looked over at him. 

“Oh hi Kaminari!” You called with a smile, “what are you doing?” 

“Looking suspicious, that’s what he’s doing.” Shinsou deadpanned. 

Kaminari laughed. 

“C’mon I’m not that suspicious.” He said with a smirk. 

“Yeah… no, you look super suspicious, Kami.” You said with a laugh. 

You and Shinsou walked towards him and Shinsou and he shared a knowing look before Kaminari stepped in front of you to stop you going into the room. 

“What are you doing?” You asked him curiously. 

“Need a kiss for entry.” Kaminari said cheekily.

Without warning Shinsou stepped forward and planted a kiss on Kaminari’s cheek, making the electric blond blush with surprise. 

“Bro what?!” He yelped.

“Kiss for entry…. you didn’t specify who.” Shinsou replied with a smirk. 

“O-ok you got me on a technicality there.” Kaminari replied as he wiped his cheek. “But I wanted a kiss from the birthday girl.” 

“Y-you remembered its my birthday?!” You asked with bashful surprise. 

“Umm of course?” He snorted, “you’re hot. Of course I’d remember! Gimme a kiss then I’ll let you in.” He encouraged. 

You smiled and leaned in, kissing him delicately on the cheek, a small zap of electricity bouncing from his skin to your lips and you squeaked in surprise. 

“Gotcha.” He said with a cheeky smirk, “ok, you can come in now.” He stepped aside for you to open the door and you pushed it open. 

“SURPRISE!!!” Midoriya, Bakugou, Kirishima and Todoroki called from inside. 

You gasped and looked at them all, then spotted Tamaki hanging back a bit, an embarrassed blush on his cheeks as he shoved his hands into his pockets and hung his head. 

Stepping into the room, you thanked them all, one by one, then made your way over to the cute shy elf at the back. 

“Why are you hiding back here, Tamaki?” You asked gently as you ducked your head to look into his eyes. 

“I…I tried to say ‘surprise’ but my voice was too soft.” He said sadly, “I wanted you to hear my voice but I failed.” 

“You can say it now to me if you like??” You said encouragingly with a smile. 

He looked at you, his bashful eyes showing a little more confidence as he stood a little straighter. 

“S-Surprise, Y/N.” He said tenderly with a small smile on his face. 

“That was perfect, Tamaki.” You praised, clapping your hands proudly. 

He smiled and looked away shyly. 

“Thank you.” He whispered. 

“OI.” Bakugou said loudly, “come and open my present. Mine is the best so it goes first.” 

You smiled as you turned back to him, taking the present that he held out to you.

“What is it?” You asked as you felt the wrapping. 

“Open it, dumbass, don’t ask stupid questions.” He grunted. 

You opened it, it was a [item relating to your musical interests] 

“K-Katsukiiii~.” You wailed happily, “it’s amazing! Thank you!!” 

You stepped forward and flung your arms around his neck as he wrapped his strong arms around your waist, pulling you into him as he bent his head down to your ear. 

“Don’t call me Katsuki in front of everyone.” He said lowly, “you’re making me look soft.” 

“Sorry.” You whisper giggled as you pulled back. “Thank you for the gift.” You said louder with a smile. 

He grunted and shoved his hands back into his pockets. 

“Y/N, if you wouldn’t mind opening mine next?” Todoroki said in his pleasant calm voice as he stepped forward with his gift. 

“Of course, Sho.” You said with a smile. 

“Oi? How come he gets first name?” Bakugou said jealously. 

“Yeah… I only get called Kami, but I got a kiss so…” Kaminari said mischievously from behind everyone. 

Bakugou arched up, explosions crackling in his palms as he turned towards Kaminari. 

“If you forced her to kiss you, dunce face…” he growled. 

“Bakugou, woah, calm down.” Kirishima said as he jumped to Kaminari’s rescue, holding Bakugou back. 

You shook your head with a smirk and opened Todoroki’s gift. It was a gift voucher for the UwU shop. 

“You drop so many of these I thought you might need more.” Todoroki said bluntly. 

You burst out laughing. 

“Yeah actually you’re right, thanks Sho, I do need more uwu.” You said with a smile. 

“Todoroki? That’s a lot of money.” Midoriya commented as he saw the amount Todoroki had given you on the gift card. 

“I used my old man’s credit card.” Todoroki said frankly. 

Midoriya sweat dropped. 

“Uh… Y/N? Would you mind accepting my gift?” Midoriya asked as he hurriedly held his present out to you. “I know you like collecting anime characters so I made you a book with all your husbando’s in it and I put all their qualities as well so you had a reference sheet but I’m sure you already know most of their qualities I just thought it would be helpful I—.”

“Deku….Shut. Up.” Bakugou snapped at the greenette. 

“S-Sorry Kacchan.” Midoriya stammered, “I thought Y/N might li-OH PLEASE DON’T CRY!” He suddenly said when he saw a tear roll down your cheek. 

“N-No it’s perfect!” You said with a sniff, “this is so beautiful!” 

“I’m so happy you like it!” Midoriya said with relief as he calmed down, happy that you weren’t crying from sadness. 

“Mine next!” Kaminari said as he bounded forwards. “Here!” 

You tilted your head curiously as he placed a rock in your hand, you turned it over and saw he had taped a picture of a meme on the other side of it. 

“Wh-.” 

“I didn’t have time to get you a present.” He said with a shrug. 

You burst out laughing. 

“This is perfect, thanks Kami.” You said with a grin. 

“I uh… left your present in my room.” Kirishima said as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly. 

“Dude…. that better not be your way of trying to get her alone in your room.” Kaminari quipped with a smirk, “you’re not slick.” 

“N-No!” Kiri stammered, “I did actually forget!” 

“Ok, ok, my gift now.” Shinsou said as he stepped forward and placed a small item in the palm of your hand. 

You looked at it. It was a friendship ring. 

You blushed. 

“Hitoshi this… this is beautiful I don’t deserve this?!” 

“Of course you do.” Shinsou said with a lopsided smile, “promise ring will come later.” He said with a smirk. 

“You gotta get past me first.” Bakugou growled protectively. 

Suddenly someone tugged gently at your sleeve and you looked to see who it was, it was your elf boy, Tamaki. 

“Yes Jiki?” You asked him with a smile. 

“I…I made you this but it’s not as nice as the other gifts you’ve received.” He said softly as he hung his head, his bottom lip quivering nervously. 

“What is it?” You asked curiously. 

He held out an origami paper butterfly he had made with your name written on one of the wings. You gasped softly. 

“It’s perfect! I’m going to put it by my bedside table.” You said proudly. “You did so well, I truly love it.” 

He smiled bashfully and hid his face. “T-Thank you, Y/N.” He whispered. 

Midoriya then collected everyone around the birthday cake he had placed on the table and ushered you to stand in front of it while all your boys sang to you, then you cut the cake. 

“CLOSEST BOY GETS A KISS IF THE KNIFE COMES OUT DIRTY!” Kaminari called as he tried to clamber over everyone to get the spot beside you. 

“Fuck off, dunce,” Bakugou grunted as he held his ground beside you, “you’re not getting any closer.” 

You and the boys had a lovely evening together, chatting and eating food as you celebrated your birthday with them. 

“This has been the BEST birthday ever!” You exclaimed happily as you sat on a very shy Tamaki’s lap, your legs draped over Bakugou’s lap. 

“I’m glad, Y/N.” Todoroki said happily from across from you, a small smile pulling at his lips as his heterochromic eyes melted you.

Bonus: 

“Do you need me to walk you back to your dorm room?” Shinsou asked as you walked to the recreation room door to head back to your room. 

“No, I’ll be fine, thank you though.” You said as you opened the door and stepped outside into the cool night air. 

You smiled to yourself as you left, thinking about all the lovely things the boys had said to you that evening. Suddenly you were grabbed from behind and pulled against someone, a scarred, gnarly hand wrapping around your mouth to prevent you from screaming. 

“Heard it’s your birthday today.” The voice said as he bent his head to your ear, cold staples sliding against your cheek, “wanna come and celebrate with me? I’ve got the perfect birthday gift for you.” He rasped lowly in your ear. 

You struggled to get free then spun around to face the person. 

“DABI, I SWEAR TO GOD!”
