“Every time I see him around you he’s making you pull stupid faces,” Bakugou grunted angrily, but at least stopping his explosions to reply to you, “stop making her cry, dumbass!” he hollered around you to Kirishima.
“N-No it’s not sad tears,” you said with embarrassment, wiping your eyes and looking down once more, “it’s me. I’m the one who keeps crying.”
“Then stop crying! People get the wrong idea, idiot,” he grunted, shoving his hands into his pockets and turning to the door. “If you make her cry for real I’ll kill you, stupid hair, understand?!” and with that he was gone, leaving you and Kirishima both looking very confused.
“He does have a point though. I do need to stop crying,” you said with a sigh after enough time had lapsed.
“It’s ok,” Kirishima said, reaching out gently to pat you on the shoulder but you flinched so he retracted his hand immediately, “s-sorry that was inappropriate I’m sorry.”
“No, it’s ok. I just wasn’t expecting it, that’s all,” you said as you turned around to face him.
“Y/N!” Uraraka sung as she skipped into the room, “ready to move your bed and drawers and stuff in? I’ve got the team waiting downstairs!”
“Oh, ok,” you said, brightening a little with a small smile at her.
She had indeed gotten the team ready and you quickly detailed the group there. Bakugou was standing off to the side leaning up against the van watching you but aside from that you didn’t know what role he had in the move of heavier items.
Uraraka was making things float with her quirk and then dark shadow was helping to guide them up the side of the building while Momo and Midoriya helped bring the items in through the sliding doors of the rooms, out on the balcony, and put them in place before Uraraka would release her quirk.
The poor girl had helped everyone that day and her limit was being hit regularly so she would have to run off and vomit, and then take a little break, and then come back and keep going.
“I’m kinda glad I only have a bed and a chest of drawers to go up,” you thought as you watched her ready herself for the drawers after having thrown up about 5 minutes ago.
She managed to send it up safely then quickly ran off to heave in peace while everyone celebrated a job well done.
Once everything had all been done, you and the rest of the class met their parents in the lobby and said final goodbyes.
Your mum was a mess but your dad was still in a bad mood so you didn’t say goodbye to him, just hugged your mum while she cried to you about being alone in the house.
“I’ll come back, I promise,” you said to her through teary eyes, “I’m not gone forever.”
“Ok my baby, I’ll make sure I make your favorite food whenever you come home, ok?” She said with one last long hug.
“Ok,” you said with a nod, waving as they left.
What a relief, seeing them leave.
Maybe this was gonna be ok after all.
“Hey Y/N!” Mina called as she bounced over to you and wrapped you in a big hug, “we’re gonna get pizza to celebrate moving in! The school is covering costs and they said to get whatever!” she added excitedly, “what’s your fave?”
“Umm… I’m easy,” you replied sheepishly. It was true though, you would eat anything!
“Oh awesome!” she said as she let you go, “ok I’ll tell Yamomo and Iida. They’re organizing it,” she added before spinning around bouncing off towards them.
You watched her go and sighed.
You had been starving all day! You had managed to sneak off and grab something in the morning before leaving, while your mum and dad had packed a few things in the van, but aside from that you hadn’t eaten anything else for the rest of the day.
Right now, you could have easily eaten 3 whole pizzas, 2 whole garlic bread and 1L of drink and possibly some dessert after letting it sit for a second.
You were dying.
While waiting for the pizzas, everyone went into the common lounge and sat down to chat.
Everyone was in high spirits and were discussing rooms and things in the rooms. Naturally, the girls were curious to see the boys rooms and vice versa. So it was decided that after dinner, there would be an open room policy, showing off who’s room was whose and what was in those rooms.
You were actually kind curious too, to see everyone’s set up, it was gonna be a good night.
Pizzas arrived after another 40 minutes and you could smell them long before Shoji walked through the door with them balanced on each of his 6 hands.
They were very quickly laid out on the table and everyone grabbed plates and dug in.
Being conscious of yourself, you watched to see just how many slices of pizza most people were taking and it appeared that 2 seemed to be the going number for the girls and some of the guys were taking 3 or 4…
You literally wanted to yoink a whole pizza box for yourself … and that was just for starters!
With much restraint, you took 2 slices of pizza and 2 slices of garlic bread and a small drink and sat down to eat, trying not to inhale the food on your plate too quickly.
Oh how you wanted more.
You so desperately wanted more.
But none of the girls were getting back up for seconds.
Why the hell weren’t they getting back up for seconds?! Now you couldn’t get back up for seconds!
“Ahhh!” Yamomo said brightly, “that was so good! I’m so full now.”
“Really?!” you screamed internally, “how?! How are you full?! You barely ate anything?!”
“The pizzas are so filling right, ribbit?” Tsuyu said in agreement, which then sparked a conversation amongst the girls about how full they all were.
“I’m going to eat more,” Bakugou suddenly snapped out of nowhere and you looked at him, “all you cowards couldn’t handle more.”
His eyes glossed over everyone then settled on you.
“Fight me if you can,” he added with a smirking scowl, eyes locked onto you.
“What?!” you thought as you looked back at him.
“Go ahead,” Mina said to him as she lounged back, “the food in my belly has won this fight.”
“What about you,” Bakugou growled and your eyes shifted from Mina to him- noting that he was still staring directly at you.
“M-Me?!” you asked with fear and surprise.
“Take another slice if you’re not a coward,” he challenged.
“Leave her alone, Bakugou,” Iida suddenly said as he stood up and chopped his hand at Bakugou, “if she doesn’t want to eat more then do not force her.”
“Shut up four eyes I wasn’t talking to you,” Bakugou growled, throwing a threatening glance at Iida.
“It’s ok, I’m full,” you lied.
Bakugou shut up and glared at you. You knew that he knew you were lying but he didn’t call you out on it and Iida sat back down.
