The weekend had been a blur. You were keen to see Shoto again but you weren’t sure what to say to him. Was he ok after Saturday night?
As you entered the classroom you saw he was already there. Walking to your desk you noticed he seemed quite tense.
“Morning Shoto.” You almost whispered.
He jumped violently and swung around. “Oh g-good morning Y/N.” He looked flushed across the cheeks.
“Shoto are you ok?”
“Hmm? Oh yes, I’m fine thank you.” He replied hurriedly.
You sat down. You were about to say something else when Aizawa-Sensei entered the room. “Ok everyone out and on the bus.” He said in a dull tone.
“Whaaaaat???” The class said in unison.
“Get. On. The. Bus. How hard is it to follow instructions??” He replied sharply
“Where are we go-”
“NO QUESTIONS. DO AS YOU’RE TOLD!” He huffed, starting to getting impatient by now.
Slowly the class stood and headed out the door to the waiting bus outside. You hopped on single file and found a seat. Shoto sat next to you. You were glad.
The bus pulled away and headed off down the road. From the short answers Aizawa-Sensei gave to the barrage of question fired at him you worked out it was going to be a day trip training in the mountains. Satisfied you made small talk with Shoto making sure to avoid the topic of Saturday night. Slowly he warmed up and relaxed. You even got a few chuckles out of him.
Suddenly the bus lurched throwing you onto Shoto. He wrapped his arms around you and held you against him. You could feel your face turning a crimson red. He didn’t let go.
“GET A ROOM!” Bakugo shouted from the back of the bus.
You hurriedly pushed back from Shoto and avoided eye contact.
“Y/N are you ok?” Shoto asked, trying to get you to look him in the eye.
You nodded and quickly looked out the window trying to hide your face.
Shoto reached out and took one of your hands. Pulling you closer to him. You turned to look at him. He had leaned closer when you weren’t looking and your noses nearly touched. You slammed back against the bus window. Shoto kept his position still leaning towards you. He inched closer. Suddenly you realized everyone on the bus was watching you.
“S-S-Shoto Umm.” You gestured towards the rest of the bus.
Shoto looked where you had gestured and realized you were both the center of attention. He sat back quickly and apologized. You gave him a weak smile and made an excuse about bumpy buses. The rest of the ride was silent between you two but he had slowly inched closer to you and your legs were touching.
In a bold move you had wrapped your right leg in behind his left leg and that’s how you remained for the rest of the trip. He didn’t say anything and you certainly weren’t about to take your leg back!
Upon arrival at the mountains Shoto got up and blocked the aisle to allow you to hop out of your seat and walk in front of him. You thanked him and started walking down the aisle.
Sero, your classmate who could shoot tape from his elbows, was trying desperately to dislodge his school bag from the overhead compartment in the bus.
You halted when you realized he wasn’t about to move anytime quick and Shoto stopped right behind you but not quite in time, pressing his chest and torso into your back. He placed a hand on your hip to catch himself.
Feeling him up against you was too much for your body to handle and you ignited. A hot feeling rushing through your core. You blushed.
“USE YOUR FUCKING QUIRK TO GET IT DOWN YOU DUMBASS!” Yelled Bakugo from the back of the bus.
Sero quickly shot tape at the bag and yanked it down, running hurriedly off the bus.
You started moving again.
You were glad Shoto couldn’t see your face. The blush was still very evident.
The plans for the day trip were:
Training.
A bush run.
Dinner around the campfire
Then home.
The training and bush run went well. You and Shoto kept stealing glances at each other and there was a definite chemistry there. You had determined that if you could get him alone for 5 seconds YOU would confess your feelings. You needed to get this out in the open now, the internal tension was driving you insane.
Thinking about the events of late and Shoto’s gorgeous body powered you through the bush run and you finished 3rd. Shoto was hot on your heels. You both made your way over to the water station, panting.
“You have a good running form.” Shoto complimented you, trying to calm his breathing.
“Thanks. I know you already have a good form I don’t need to see it.” You shot back flirtatiously.
He was done.
