Dabi grimaced and cupped his balls lightly and your eyebrows shot up into your hairline.
“Bruiser?!”
“Yeah. He’s gentle don’t worry,” the chick replied with a chuckle, “everyone is worried when they hear his name but then he gets the best reviews.”
You nodded and looked at Dabi.
“Scissors, paper, rock? Loser goes first?” you asked your man.
“Yeah, ok” he replied, holding his fist out to you.
“Sci-ssors, pa-per, ROCK!”
Your hand flew out in paper form and Dabi’s hand remained curled in rock form and you whooped for joy.
“Ah fuck,” Dabi grunted.
“You’re up, baby!” you said with a giant grin, “good luck!”
“I won’t have a dick when I come out,” Dabi lamented.
“You’ll be fine,” you chuckled, waving him off as he slowly walked to the tattoo artists door and knocked.
“Come in!” A heavily accented Irish voice called.
Dabi very slowly turned the handle of the door to the room and then entered, spinning back around so that as he closed the door all you could see was one of his turquoise eyes watching you and it made you chuckle that he had maintained eye contact for that long.
“He’ll be ok, right?” you asked the girl at the desk again.
She nodded, “yeah. Don’t even stress. Just take a seat.”
You nodded and sat down, pulling out your phone to pass the time.
…………………………………
“Hey, welcome to the shop,” the Irish piercer greeted Dabi, reaching out a hand to shake your man’s then stepping back, “jes jump up on this bed here and let’s have a chat.”
“Not gonna lie, doc, this is my first rodeo for piercings south of the boarder,” Dabi joked dryly, looking at all the piercings and tattoos on the man’s face, neck and arms.
“Doc?” Bruiser chuckled, “gotta say never been called that before.”
“First time for everything” Dabi replied getting up on the examination bed and lying down.
“Ain’t that the truth!” Bruiser commented emphatically, “now. Tell me what you’re afta.”
“Wanna get a Jacob’s ladder” Dabi said as he lay back stiffly on the bed.
“Ah! A frenum piercing,” Brusier said with a grin, “got one me-self, 4 in at the moment but want to go with 6.”
“Bold man,” Dabi commented.
“How many rungs are ya afta?” Brusier asked.
“3?” Dabi replied.
“Yup, I can do that. I like to do either 2 or 3 at a time. There will bea wee bit of swelling but it should settle relatively quickly,” Brusier said.
“Can I borrow your accent for a bit?” Dabi said with a smirk, “I could really do with a change of voice.”
Bruiser laughed again, “ai, ai get comments all the time. It’s half of me charm.”
“My charm is just constant sexually charged jokes,” Dabi replied with a smirk.
“Everyone has their shtik” Brusier replied with a smile before walking over to a drawer and pulling out some different piercings and sizes, “here we go, lad, here are some different types of piercings for ya. We have here a, er, bar piercing… this one is a 10 gauge…”
“I like the look of the bar one the best” Dabi commented, “would you recommend the 10 or larger?”
“Well drop yer pants and let’s have a look at ya” the friendly piercer said, gesturing to Dabi’s baggy jeans.
The ravenette undid his pants and tugged them down while Brusier went and put on some gloves for the examination.
“Ok now” the Irish artist said as he walked back over and had a look at Dabi’s dick, “jes raise ‘er up for me so l can have a look underneath.”
Dabi obliged, flipping his dick up so that Bruiser could see the underside. The artist took a good look then hummed and looked down at the bars he was holding.
“I think a 12 gauge would suit you nicely,” he commented, “‘ll be adding a wee bit more length to the bar to accommodate for swelling but we’ll change it out once the swelling goes down.”
“Ok” Dabi nodded, “‘so 12 gauge and 3 rungs?” Dabi said.
“Right,” Bruiser confirmed with a nod, “let me just get my gear, get you the paperwork, and we’ll get started.”
………………………………..
An unspecified amount of time passed and then Dabi walked out of the room very gingerly.
“Hey!” You greeted, “are you all done already?!”
“Mmhmm,” he hummed, tenderly sitting down beside you.
“Did it hurt?” you asked cautiously.
“Mmhmm” he hummed again.
You chewed on your bottom lip nervously and looked from him, back to the door.
As you looked, Bruiser came out and gave you a smile.
“Y/N, I presume?” he said in his thick accent and you swooned.
“You presume correctly!” you said witha grin as you got up and walked towards him.
“Now,” he said as he ushered you into the room and closed the door, “what are we doing for you today?”
“I’d like a tattoo and two nipple piercings,” you said with a smile, trying not to let your nervousness show.
“That’s a lot of work,” he said, scratching the back of his head, “how big did you want the tattoo and what would you like?”
“Here” you said, pulling our your phone and opening it to show him some pictures, “I’d like this kanji under my right breast with a flame at the end.”
Bruiser took the phone from you and had a look at the picture.
“What does it mean? Do you know?”
“It’s my boyfriend’s name. And then just add a flame at the end.”
“Have you checked it to make sure it means what it means? Because l can tell you now there have been times where people get something tattooed in a different language and it turns out that it’s not what they thought it was,” he said with a chuckle.
“Uh… I’m pretty sure it means ‘Dabi’?” you replied.
“I can run it though our translator to double check?” he said, walking over to the scanner by the computer, “is it in kanji?”
You nodded.
He placed the phone face down on the scanner and typed something into the computer then selected “kanji’.
The scanner swiped over your phone then a word popped up on the screen of the computer.
“Yep. It translates to Dabi. But in Japanese it means cremation,” he said, looking back at you.
“Cremation?!” you said with surprise, “that’s… odd.”
Your mind pulled up the story that Dabi had told you about how his father had tried to douse him in petrol and set him alight and you shuddered.
“Who would name their child, cremation… it’s a bit sickening if Dabi’s dad had insisted on calling him that KNOWING that he would try and kill him by fire later on…”
This thought disturbed you and you made a mental note that you might need to talk to Dabi about it later… just to clear things up.
“This tattoo shouldn’t take too long… maybe 15 minutes?” Bruiser commented, enlarging the image to take a better look.
