“Don’t be afraid.” Todoroki said in a low, soothing voice to the trembling Midoriya as they approached the ticket gates to the haunted house.
“Oh I’m n-n-not scared.” Midoriya lied. “It’s a simple case of situational placement. See, if I just remind myself that the monsters are just people dressed up then it makes it better…”
He continued to justify his fear and rationalize the situation until Todoroki bent his head down next to Midoriya’s ear and whispered in a husky tone.
“Don’t overthink it, Izu, just hold onto me like you do when we’re making love…”
Midoriya flushed red instantly and his ramble turned into a jumble of incoherent words as what Todoroki had said threw him WAY off his game.
Kiri was close enough to have heard what Todoroki said and he blushed in secondhand embarrassment on Midoriya’s behalf.
“Oh my gosh, they’ve already done it? They move quick…” he thought to himself. “I…I wonder what it would be like to…”
His mind wandered as he allowed himself to fantasize about what it would be like to make love to Bakugou. He definitely saw himself on top… watching the faces of pleasure Bakugou pulled as his slid in and out of—.
“Oi,” Bakugou’s gruff voice cut into his thoughts like a samurai sword and he jumped violently.
“Eek!” The cute redhead gasped.
“You ok?” Bakugou inquired, “you had an interesting expression on your face just then…”
Kiri blushed, “Oh no, no, I’m fine I was just thinking about the uh, house, haunted house… yeah..”
Bakugou raised an eyebrow at him. “Hmmm.” He hummed, “well don’t worry…I’m here, yeah?”
Kiri smiled. “Thanks Katsu.”
“Well at least it got my mind off the impending doom ahead.”
Before Midoriya and Kiri knew it, they had entered the house.
Ochako and Tsuyu watched from outside as they heard scream after scream emit from their terrified friends inside.
“Who’s that one screaming the loudest?” Tsuyu asked with a cute little head tilt.
“I’m pretty sure that’s Bakugou’s voice.” Ochako laughed.
After 10 minutes all 4 boys emerged looking more pale than when they entered that’s for sure!
“Who screamed the most?” Ochako asked with a laugh as the group of deathly looking boys approached the two girls.
“I believe it was Bakugou.” Todoroki said briskly in his usual monotone voice.
“Shut up, it was not!” Bakugou snapped back with an annoyed look on his face.
“It was very manly screaming.” Kiri interjected, patting Bakugou’s arm as a way of trying to make it all better.
“Tch.” Bakugou scowled and looked away.
The two girls giggled and beckoned the boys to follow them to the next attraction.
The rest of the day was perfect as far as Kiri was concerned. He was enjoying the company of the others and especially Bakugou.
Sometimes they would hold hands secretly or Bakugou would put his hands on Kiri’s hips and pull him backwards into him a bit when they were standing in line waiting to go on an amusement ride.
As the day drew to a close there was an announcement that the end of day fireworks would commence soon so the group made their way to a hill where they would get a good view.
All the friends chatted and told stories as they waited and Bakugou even tucked his arm around Kiri’s waist as they sat on the grass.
Darkness fell and the fireworks were due to start at any moment.
Then suddenly the first one exploded into the sky and Kiri sighed happily.
Bakugou gave his boyfriend’s waist a little squeeze and Kiri looked at him with a big grin on his face. With heads turned towards each other they took a moment to gaze into each other’s eyes as the light of the fireworks illuminating both their faces, the mood slowly drawing them in towards each other.
“Hey! Have you got a shift on Monday?” Ochako suddenly asked Kiri.
Bakugou growled and pulled away.
Disappointed, Kiri answered Ochako’s question then tried to get Bakugou’s attention again but the angry blond refused to look at him.
Kiri was crestfallen, had he done something to upset Bakugou?
The rest of the night was spent in silence as Kiri felt an angry aura emitting from his blond companion.
Soon it was time to go and Kiri said a quick goodbye to the others as he chased Bakugou out of the gates towards the bus stop.
“Hey..Katsu, are you ok? You seemed…really annoyed?” Kiri asked, not really knowing what to say or how to say it.
“That’s because I AM fucking annoyed.” Bakugou spat.
“Oh…” Kiri said sadly, “is it something I did?”
“No! I’m not angry at you.” Bakugou said, turning to face the dejected redhead. “I’m angry at those A class assholes who keep getting in the way of me…me…”
“You, what?” Kiri asked innocently with an inquiring little head tilt.
“Me…” Bakugou stuttered again, stepping forward and grabbing Kiri by the front of his jacket. “Kissing you…” He said lowly as his eyes burned into the redhead’s.
“Then what are you waiting for?” Kiri asked quietly in anticipation as Bakugou held him.
Bakugou bent his head down and his lips met Kiri’s soft ones. Instantly they deepened the kiss, pulling their bodies together as Kiri grabbed a handful of Bakugou’s ass.
It was late and most of the festival goers had left already so no one was there to witness the sweetest moment in both of their lives. A kiss, that final kiss! The one they had both been waiting for.
It was everything they had hoped it would be and Kiri melted into Bakugou’s strong arms as they continued to make out near the bus stop.
When the bus arrived they hopped on and took a seat at the back with Kiri snuggling his head into the crook of Bakugou’s neck, their hands clasped in each others like it was their last time together.
They were content.
Bakugou finally got the kiss he had been dying to get. His first ever kiss and he breathed out happily as he rested his cheek on top of Kiri’s spikey red hair, closing his eyes as a soft smile pulled at his lips.
